How To Get Google Adsense Approval In A Month?
1. Use Custom Domain
Before you apply for an adsense account, make sure you have a custom top level domain for your blog.
Many newbie bloggers start blogging with free blogging platforms and want to get adsense approved with the subdomains like yourblog.wordpress.com or yourblog.tumblr.com . It is always suggested to get a custom domain name for your blog.
If you are using self hosted WordPress site, then make sure you have a reliable hosting to keep your site live anytime. Bluehost is one of the best WordPress hosting provider, if you are looking for a reliable hosting service to host your blog.
Even if you are using Blogger platform, I would recommend you to get a domain name for your blogspot blog before you apply for Google Adsense. You can get a domain name with Namecheap for less than 10$/year.
2. Clean Navigation
When you are applying for Google Adsense account, you must make sure that your blog has a clean interface and navigation. You blog must be easy to navigate.
Google Adsense rejects the applications for poorly designed and hard to navigate sites. Also you must make sure that your blog theme is responsive and looks great on mobile devices.
So make sure you have a clean and neat layout before applying for Google Adsense account.
Some newbie bloggers commit a mistake of using random free themes for their blog. Most free themes are poorly coded and have backlinks to other sites and are not suitable for your blog.
You can use the best premium WordPress themes from Generatepress or MyThemeShop.
If you are looking for best FREE SEO friendly WordPress themes, I have compiled a list of best FREE search engine friendly WordPress themes.
When I got my Adsense account for this website, I was using Astra free theme and before that I had been using Eleven40Pro theme child theme of Genesis Framework.
3. Content Type
The type of content you are posting on your blog also determines whether your application will be approved or rejected by Google Adsense.
If you have contents on any of the following topic, then you will never get an adsense account for your blog.
- Adult and Adult themes in family content
- Contents related to drug abuse and weapons
- Alcohol and tobacco related
- Hacking, cracking and phising related contents
- Illegal
You can check other Prohibited Content list and read about them from Google help center here.
Make sure you get rid of these content in your blog before you are applying to Google Adsense.

Also make sure to never post on these topics even if you have got your adsense approved and have ads running on your blog else you will end up losing your account forever.
I have also noticed that Google adsense has been rejected most sites on the saturated topics like making money online, marketing and SEO related topics. So it may be a bit hard if you are working on these topics.
4. Have enough Content
Newbie bloggers have a hurry of applying for adsense even before posting some content on their blogs. Some bloggers apply directly for adsense account without even posting anything.
If you don’t have enough quality content in your blog, then you won’t get an Adsense account for sure.
Make sure you have 9-10 great articles that are at least 1500 words long before applying for Google Adsense account.

I got my Adsense approved for 11 blog posts and almost all articles were about 2000 words long. The case may not be the same for you. I have seen bloggers get adsense approved for 3 to 4 long articles in their blog. And I have also seen bloggers with more than 50 articles and still struggling for Google Adsense approval.
But I think about 10-15 long, unique articles will be sufficient for getting your adsense application approved.
5. Avoid publishing Thin content
Just publishing long content is not enough to get approval for Google Adsense. You blog posts must be informative, unique and add value to the users.
If you are using automatically generated content, posting affiliate links without adding any value, using scraped content or low quality blog posts then you will not get approval for Adsense.
If you have a blog filled with low quality content, then you will get your adsense application rejected.
So make sure to post high quality content before signing up and apply for Adsense account.
6. Create essential pages
For getting Adsense approval you must have some essential pages created on your blog.
You must create About, Contact and Privacy policy pages in your blog for getting your adsense application approved.
I had created all the pages at the time of publishing my blog.
About page must consist the information about the author or owner of the blog and also what your blog is about.
Privacy policy must contain a page about what informations you track of your audience, how you do it and what do you use it for.
Contact us page have informations about contacting the managers of the blog.
You can easily create these pages for your blog. If you need any assistance creating these pages, you can comment below and I can help you create these pages for free.
7. Don’t use copyrighted Images and Content
If you are using copyrighted properties like images, graphics, icons and even copied content from other sites, then it would make a negative impact on your Adsense application.
Many bloggers use images downloaded directly from Google in their blog posts. This must be avoided to monetize your blog with Google Adsense.
You can download tons of free to use images for your blog posts from free stock images stores like Unsplash and Pixabay.
You can even use professional tools like Photoshop to create images for your blog. If you don’t know how to create images for your image, you can even use free resources like Canva to create amazing images for your articles.
I used images created with Canva and photoshop for my blog.
8. Don’t Use Other Ads
You must remember one thing that when applying for Adsense you must remove all other ad networks from your blog and keep your site clean.
If you have your site crowded with advertisements, then Google Adsense may reject your application.
Once you have got Adsense approval for your site, you can use other ad networks alongside the Google Ads but I would recommend not using any ad networks on your blog at the time of applying for Google Adsense.
9. Know Adsense Eligibility Criteria
There are other things that must be taken into mind while applying for google adsense to monetize your blog.
You must be at least 18 years old before applying for Adsense account. If you are younger than 18, then you can use your parents details to get an Adsense account on their name.
Also you must make sure that the language you have set up your blog on, must be on the supported languages list of Adsense.
The traffic sources of your blog must be from legal ways.
You can read all the eligibility criteria for getting Google Adsense Approval here.
10. Traffic
Traffic is not deciding factor for getting Adsense Approved in most of the case but I recommend taking this in consideration while applying for Adsense.
